Job Description

  • Prepares drywall for painting, wallpapering, or plastering.

  • Measures and cuts drywall panels to fit around spaces like doors and windows, and installs them to studs.

  • Uses drywall compound to fill in and cover joints, screws, nails, and other imperfections. 

  • Applies paper or fiberglass mesh tape to cover drywall seams, and sands and smooths the tape. 

  • Loads and unloads supplies into and out of vehicles.

Job Requirements

  • Heaving lifting 

  • A lot of hard physical work

  • Ability to multitask  

  • Attention to detail, and Hand eye coordination

  • Ability to bend, stretch, and reach

  • Ability to work in bad weather and and in heights 

  • Able to follow instructions directed by supervisors 

  • Must be 18 or older
