We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mascot Casting Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for casting latex mascot masks using plaster molds, ensuring high-quality production standards, and assisting with the fabrication process from start to finish. Experience with mold-making, latex casting, and costume or prop fabrication is highly preferred. Latex mask production commonly uses plaster molds and casting latex techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cast latex mascot heads and mask components using plaster molds
• Prepare, clean, and maintain molds for production
• Demold, trim, and inspect cast pieces for quality and consistency
• Repair minor imperfections and prepare masks for finishing
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures when handling casting materials and chemicals
• Collaborate with sculpting, painting, and assembly departments

Qualifications:

• Experience with latex casting, mold-making, or prop fabrication preferred
• Ability to work with plaster molds and casting materials
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience in mascot, costume, special effects, or theatrical fabrication is a plus
