Administrative Assistant

Job Description
An Administrative Assistant performs in a Construction environment that demands extreme flexibility in dealing with DIR, DES, LCP Tracker programs.. The job demands that Administrative Assistant be able to perform all of the routine duties of working in a standard construction office. Satisfactory performance at this level requires the full knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform duties at the highest professional levels at all times. The Administrative Assistant must continuously exercise a strong commitment to the organizational and communication goals of the Company.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to the experience and education that are required by Federal, State, and local guidelines. The minimum requirements for experience and education are:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum two years’ experience as an Admin Assistant
Minimum one year of Construction environment experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work full-time
Must be able to work overtime if/when permitted
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening (background check, drug tests, and
references)
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILLS:
Ability to operate printers, photocopiers, and telephone systems.
Capable in appointment scheduling
Extreme attention to detail
Excellent problem solver
Team player
Payroll
Exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills
Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office
Perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
Perform efficiently in a high pressure setting
Able to rapidly learn new skills and behaviors in response to changing circumstances
Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers
Light Bookkeeping
Data Entry
Meet deadlines and remain on timelines
Ability to work independently and without supervision when necessary
Prevailing wage project background a plus+
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
