C Delivery Driver

Job Description

  • Operate Class C delivery vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to residential and commercial locations.
  • Route management: Review delivery schedules, maps, and manifests to plan daily routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Vehicle inspections: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues.
  • Loading and unloading: Securely load, transport, and unload products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or by hand.
  • Customer service: Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, obtain signatures, and resolve basic delivery issues.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and any necessary paperwork per company policy.
  • Compliance: Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies while operating delivery vehicles.
  • Warehouse support: Assist with basic warehouse tasks such as sorting packages, staging deliveries, or vehicle cleanliness when needed.

Job Requirements

  • Licensing: Valid Class C driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Experience: Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
  • Navigation: Ability to use GPS devices or route management software.
  • Physical ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality, with attention to safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Team player: Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with dispatchers and warehouse staff.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 40 – 50 hours per week
Pay Range: $16.50 – $85.00 per hour
