Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service at the point of sale, ensuring a smooth checkout experience and supporting front-of-house operations.
Customer service:
Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide assistance with orders, returns, or general inquiries to ensure a positive guest experience.
Transaction processing:
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately ring up purchases, apply discounts, process payments, and issue receipts.
Cash handling:
Handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions responsibly; count and reconcile register drawers at beginning and end of shift.
Order accuracy:
Confirm accuracy of orders before finalizing sales; communicate clearly with customers and kitchen staff to resolve any issues.
Front counter upkeep:
Keep the register area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies such as bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials.
Line management:
Maintain efficient customer flow by managing lines during peak hours, ensuring minimal wait time and maximum service quality.
Team coordination:
Work closely with other front-of-house staff, baristas, and kitchen team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Policy compliance:
Follow company procedures for refunds, voids, coupon redemption, and register security; maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Requirements
Experience: Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
POS proficiency: Comfortable using computerized cash register systems and payment terminals.
Customer focus: Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Accuracy: Attention to detail when handling money and entering orders.
Problem-solving: Quick thinker who can resolve customer issues calmly and efficiently.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physical stamina: Able to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning or restocking as needed.
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-Time
Expected Hours: 20– 40 per week
Pay Rate: ($16.50/hr)
Pay Range: $16.50 – $85.00 per hour
