Job Description

  • Transfer files send digital files to the press for printing 
  • Operation Operate HP Indigo digital presses to print various materials, such as labels according to job specifications
  • Set-up Prepare the press for print jobs by loading materials inputting job parameters and making necessary adjustments 
  • Maintenance performs routine cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs on the digital printing equipment to ensure optimal performance 
  • Quality Control Monitor print output to ensure it meets quality standards including color accuracy and registration and make adjustments 
  • .Troubleshooting identifies and resolves issues that arise during the printing process such as mechanical faults or color inconsistencies. 
  • Material Handling work with a variety of printing substrates papers films Etc and understand how they interact with the indigo press
  • Finishing integration Coordinate with finishing processes to ensure a seamless transitions form the press to subsequent steps like cutting or folding 
  • Record Keeping Maintain accurate logs of jobs progress materials usage and maintenance performed  

Job Requirements

  • Technical Aptitude ability to understand and troubleshoot complex digital printing equipment 
  • Color Management a strong understanding of color settings and how to adjust them for optimal 
  • Attention to detail Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the precision and quality of printed output  
  • Material Knowledge familiarity with different types of substrates and ink used in digital printing
  • Problem solving ability to quickly identify and solve problems to minimize downtime   
  • Communication effective communication with production managers and other team members
