Job Description

  • Designing and building forms 
  • Setting up the forms
  • Pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete 
  • Weigh and mix concrete materials 
  • Mold expansion joints and edges 
  • Use wire mesh to reinforce concrete
  • Monitoring material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish 
  • Apply waterproof and sealant to protect concrete work

Job Requirements

  • Work experience as concrete laborer or similar role
  • Ability to perform strenuous tasks with hands 
  • Ability to kneel, bend, and lift material as needed 
  • Ability to measure accurately and read specifications
  • Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
  • Self Control — Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
