Journeyman Drywall Installer / Hanger

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Hang drywall on walls and ceilings (wood and metal stud framing)
  • Measure, cut, and install sheets accurately with minimal waste
  • Install drywall per plans, specifications, and field conditions
  • Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate with superintendents and other trades
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Assist with basic prep work as needed

Job Requirements

  • Journeyman-level drywall hanging experience
  • MUST have your own drywall tools (saws, routers, screw guns, knives, etc.)
  • Ability to hang board independently and as part of a crew
  • Familiarity with commercial drywall standards and layouts
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions, plans, and schedules
  • OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with metal stud framing
  • Basic drywall finishing experience

Additional Information

Employment Type- Monday - Friday. Some Saturday's

Pay Rate-$28.00-$45.00HR

Pay-Rate Ranges $17.75/HR-$85.00/HR
