Fence Installer Labor

Job Description

We are in need of a Fence Installer Labor that has knowledge of measuring, preparing, and installing various types of fences such as wood, vinyl, and chain link, for residential or commercial properties, involving taks like digging post holes, assembling panels, and mixing concrete. They use hand and power tools, operate machinery like post hole diggers, ensure proper alignment and security, repair existing fences, maintain a clean worksite, and provide customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and mark fence lines, clear the site of obstructions, and prepare the ground for posts.
  • Dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and set posts securely in the ground.
  • Cut and install fence components like rails and pickets, or assemble and attach panels and mesh fencing.
  • Use hand and power tools, including post hole diggers and augers, for various installation tasks.
  • Inspect completed installations, make adjustments, and repair damaged or broken fence sections.
  • Meet with clients to discuss job details and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
  • Follow safety protocols, ensure the work area is clean, and keep tools and equipment well-maintained.

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is often required.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various conditions.
  • Adaptability to changing project needs and the ability to find solutions on-site.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with different fencing materials like wood, vinyl, metal, and chain link.
  • A meticulous approach to ensure fences are level, aligned, and meet quality standards.

 

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $18.00/HR
Pay Rate Ranges: $18.00/HR- $85.00/HR
