Container Unloader/Loader
Job Description
· Handling and Staging: Carefully remove, sort, and stage windows.
· Coordinate seamlessly with a partner or team to lift and transport oversized windows that are too heavy or fragile for a single person.
· Inspect windows and frames for chips, scratches, or transit damage before moving them to the staging area.
· Open bales, crates, and other containers.
· Ability to push and pull weights often exceeding 50 lbs. without assistance.
· Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
· Work from a platform at a height of 30 feet above ground.
· Effective communication and interaction with multi-functional and diverse teams.
· Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and related documentation.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly.
Job Requirements
· The role requires repetitive bending, kneeling, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
· Work is performed inside unventilated, non-temperature-controlled containers. These spaces can become dark, cramped, and extremely hot, particularly during the summer months.
· Mandatory personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots, heavy-duty cut-resistant gloves, and back support belts.
