Job Description
Prepare and cook food to order in a high-paced kitchen environment, ensuring quality, consistency, and safety in every dish served.

Food preparation:

Prepares ingredients and cooking stations before service; ensures all supplies are stocked and organized for smooth operation.

Cooking execution:

Cook menu items using various methods such as grilling, sauteing, baking, or frying; ensure all dishes are cooked to proper temperature and specifications.

Plating and presentation:

Assemble and present dishes according to company standards, maintaining portion control and visual appeal.

Recipe adherence:

Follow standardized recipes and instructions precisely, minimizing waste and ensuring consistency across all menu items. 

Equipment operation:

Safely use kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, and stoves; maintain and clean work tools and stations after use.

Communication:

Coordinate with servers, expeditors, and other kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order completion.

Quality control:

Inspect food before service for quality, temperature, and appearance; alert supervisors to any inconsistencies.

Cleanliness and safety:

Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment; uphold health department standards.

• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment preferred.

• Cooking proficiency: Skilled in multiple cooking methods and food handling techniques.
• Speed and efficiency: Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Food safety: Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures and safe food storage.
• Attention to detail: Focused on flavor, presentation, and consistency.
• Team player: Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
• Physical stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
