Job Description
-
Preparing food ingredients and cooking stations before service; ensures all supplies are stocked and organized smoothly.

Cook menu items using various methods such as grilling, sauteing, baking or frying; ensure all dishes are cooked to proper temperature and specifications.

Safely use kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills and stoves; maintain and clean work tools and stations after use.

Inspect food before service for quality, temperature and appearance; alert supervisors to any inconsistencies.

Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools and equipment; uphold health department standards.
Job Requirements

Experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.

Skilled in multiple cooking methods and food handling techniques.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures and consistency.
-
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
-
Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50lbs.

Pay Rate: $16.50

Pay Ranges from:$16.50 - $85.00
