Job Description
- Help the driver load and unload packages and goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are properly secured.
- Assist the driver with navigation using GPS or maps, providing directions, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Assist with pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, lights, and fluid levels.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and dispatch to update delivery status and address any issues.
- Ensure that delivery items are organized and arranged efficiently within the vehicle for easy access.
- Compiled accurate delivery records and reports.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry packages, potentially up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and drivers.
- Ability to organize and manage delivery items efficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to follow directions and instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude at work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Additional Information
Employment Type - Monday - Friday. Weekends included
Pay Rate-$17.25/HR
Pay-Rate Ranges $17.00/HR-$85/HR
