Job Description
- Cut drywall panels
- Measure
- Mark
- Patch & Trim
- Measure, cut and fit drywall panels to the appropriate size and shape
- Install drywall panels using hand and power tools
- Prepare and sand drywall seams to ensure they are smooth and even
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams and screw holes to create a seamless appearance
- Repair or replace damaged drywall panels
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the installation process
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and free of debris
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and measurements of the drywall installation
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with different types of drywall and their applications
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
