Job Description

  • Assist electricians in assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and clothes.
  • Assist in the repair or replacement of wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Fasten plastic boxes to bulkheads to boat electrical switches or outlets.
  • Assist in the assembly of electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components and units.
  • Assist in the installation of electrical distribution including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment such as circuit breakers, and switches.
  • Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers.
  • Assist in the installation of equipment and accessories such as navigation equipment, and communication equipment.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, or repairing 12v and 24v systems preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing 12v and 24v systems preferred.

Job Requirements

  • Can lift to 50 pounds.
  • Lift/Stand/Crawl for extended period
  • Ability to physically transit all areas of the facility and go in and out of boats.
  • Have eagerness to learn!

Additional Information

Pay-Rate Ranges $20.00/HR-$85.00/HR
