Performs troubleshooting and/or testing of various electrical, systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment, onboard military shore facilities, Navyships/vessels to include submarines and/or ship's components and documents test requirements.

Conducts voltage and other electrical safety checks.

Performs connections/hook-ups to panels, switches, and boxes.

Assists with cleaning up work area (removing debris from work area).

Employees may be required to travel for work to other locations

Able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, written technical instructions and manuals.

Able to read and understand material safety data sheets (SDS).

Perform basic troubleshooting and/or testing of various electrical, systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment.

Basic understanding of electrical theory.

Able to correctly wire simple devices, such as power/lighting panels, power/lighting distribution boxes, small terminal boxes, outlet receptacles, etc., with minimal supervision.

Must be reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
