Food Prepper
Job Description

Knowing how to wash, peel, chop, slice and portion vegetables, fruits, meats and other ingredients according to recipe or instructions.

Stocking workstations with prepared ingredients, utensils, cutting boards and other required materials before service begins.

Properly label and date all prepped items; store ingredients safely in compliance with food safety standards.

Keep prep areas clean and organized throughout the shift, dispose of waste properly and restock supplies as needed.

Assist cooks with simple tasks like boiling, portioning, marinating, or assembling basic menu components.

Follow hygiene protocols, including hand washing, glove use and proper food handling, report any spoiled or expired items.
Job Requirements

Experience in prior kitchen or food prep experience is helpful but not required.

Efficiently complete prep list and maintain pace during busy hours.

Responsibility: punctuality, consistent and dependable in attention and task completion.

Able to lift 40lbs, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Additional Information

Pay Rate: $16.50
-
Pay Ranges from: $16.50 - $85.00

Schedule: Part-Time & Full-Time
