Job Description

 

  • Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklift. (Sit down, and Stand Up)
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
  • Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
  • Drives sit-down, stand-up forklift, cherry pickers
  • Pallet building and pallet picks
  • Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material
  • Loads and unloads product cargo
  • Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked
  • Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods
  • Maintains clean work area

  • Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, vision
