Job Description
Patients pick up and transport. (Waiting for patients during appointment and assisting in getting patients in and out of the vehicle)
Driver or attendant duties as required for providing personal assistance, emotional support, or other personal care to others.
Follow directions from on-site staff for direct duties throughout the work period. (Tasks will vary by individual patient or physical location needs).
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
Stock medical or patient care supplies, and keep up inventory awareness to low stock replacements.
Work Activities
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment — Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as electric wheelchair, walker, walking cane, passenger vehicles, etc.
Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Materials — Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events — Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
Handling and Moving patients - Hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety.
Safety Awareness - Notify others of emergencies, problems, or hazards.
Personal Care - Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, including bathing assistance as required.
Home Maintenance and basic housekeeping - Regular cleaning and maintenance to prevent the spread of germs and reduce the risk of infections.
Mobility Assistance - Helping the person being cared for move safely, both inside and outside the home.
Food preparation - Prepping meals and planning a diet that meets the person's nutritional needs.
Companionship - Providing companionship to help alleviate feelings of loneliness or isolation.
Transportation - Assisting with transportation to appointments and doctor's visits.
Job Requirements
