Job Description
- Clean and maintain production floors, removing metal shavings, dust, and debris
- Sweep, mop, and scrub surfaces using industrial cleaning equipment
- Safely dispose of scrap materials and waste in designated containers
- Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding work areas in accordance with safety guidelines
- Remove grease, oil, and residue buildup from surfaces and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitation stations
- Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA regulations and proper use of PPE
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to company policies
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns (spills, leaks, damaged equipment)
- Assist with deep cleaning projects during shutdowns or scheduled maintenance
- Ensure walkways and work areas remain clear and safe at all times
Job Requirements
- Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Additional Information
Pay rate: $18/Hour +
Pay range: $18-$85 (We are required by law to list the highest-paid employee)
