We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lighting Installer to join our team. The Lighting Installer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential and commercial lighting systems. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical components, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to delivering high-quality installations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, including recessed lighting, chandeliers, pendant lights, landscape lighting, security lighting, and LED systems.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and installation specifications.
• Assemble and install lighting components according to manufacturer guidelines and electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic lighting and wiring issues.
• Test lighting systems to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all job sites.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable electrical regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Complete installation reports and documentation as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at varying heights.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Previous experience in lighting installation, electrical work, construction, or home improvement.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Experience installing LED, landscape, and smart lighting systems.
• OSHA certification or other safety training.
• Electrical trainee or apprentice experience.
