Job Description
- Supply Chain Oversight: Coordinate and monitor the entire freight order cycle, ensuring seamless flow from us to end customers.
- Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, delivery schedules, and storage solutions to prevent shortages and reduce overhead costs.
- Carrier & Vendor Relations: Negotiate rates, contracts, and service levels with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
- Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Monitor shipping and operational budgets, identifying bottlenecks and executing cost-saving strategies.
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators, fostering a safe and productive work environment
- Compliance & Problem Solving: Resolve delivery delays, handle customer complaints, and ensure shipments comply with international and domestic regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA).
Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND CAN DRIVE A TRUCK AND TRAILER (not CDL nor does it require daily driving)
- Experience: Typically 3+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations. Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with software
- Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong business communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Forklift training
- Global Logistics: Experience with import/export processes, customs, and international shipping regulations.
- Compliance & Problem Solving: Resolve delivery delays, handle customer complaints, and ensure shipments comply with international and domestic regulations
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators, fostering a safe and productive work environment
