SUMMARY: Manual lathe operators operate a manual lathe machine which is used to cut, drill face and turn
materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Disassemble core on manual lathe.
• Polish hub on manual lathe.
• Set up and operate manual lathe to specifications.
• Keep work area clean.
• Preventative maintenance on lathe.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• One to five years related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
