Job Description
- Perform daily safety inspections on all equipment (delivery vans, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.) in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Conduct daily deliveries of home medical equipment and supplies to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Instruct patients on the proper and safe use of prescribed medical equipment.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and orderly manner.
- Report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or injuries immediately.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company uniform standards.
- Plan delivery routes to ensure the most efficient use of time and equipment.
Job Requirements
- Valid Class C CDL and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home deliveries, preferably involving medical or sensitive equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and patients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Commitment to promoting a professional, courteous, and respectful work environment.
Additional Information
Pay rate: $18/Hour +
Pay range: $18-$85 (We are required by law to list highest paid employee)
