Job Description

  1. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. (flour bags) and be able to dump it in a mixing vat.
  2. Read proficiently enough to read an SOP for every product being produced day to day. Preferred some English, but we can train on SOPs.
  3. Perform basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) because they need to take formula card and multiply every ingredient times the number of batches they are mixing at that moment.
  4. Pay attention to detail because every mixing tool must be accounted for consistently to ensure it does not fall into batter without knowledge.
  5. If assigned to mixing for PG1 (cake squares), they need to be able to climb the stairs and work on a 2nd story platform, so they should have no fear of heights for that position

Job Requirements

  • Must be open to working weekends, weekdays and/or overtime
  • Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or other products to ensure conformance to requirements
  • Ensures all products needed for desired mixes are available
  • Ensures all products needed for desired mi are available
  • Records the mix that is made and weight of the mix on production sheet
  • Places mix in appropriate location and record location for filling
  • Cleans production area including mixing tables and hoppers
  • Complete all paperwork for mixers and submits to supervisor
  • This job works under only general instructions and is expected to accomplish work assignments with limited amounts of supervision.
