Patients pick up and transport. (Waiting for patients during appointment and assisting in getting patients in and out of the vehicle)
Driver or attendant duties as required for providing personal assistance, emotional support, or other personal care to others.
Manually or mechanically load or unload wheelchairs, walkers, gurney beds onto platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Verify the appointment time and location for the patient is scheduled to avoid delays.
Plan routes to ensure appointments are scheduled with appropriate time of travel considering unforeseen incidents that may cause delays.
Use of a Personal phone required for GPS routing and ease of use as per your own experience with travel via your own device. (Reimbursement for personal device at $5/per week)
Record keeping and reporting for travel time, drop off, sign in to appointments, and waiting for patients until appointments are complete to return them back.
Follow directions from on-site staff for direct duties throughout the work period. (Tasks will vary by individual patient or physical location needs).
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
Stock medical or patient care supplies, and keep up inventory awareness to low stock replacements.
Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded transportation vehicles or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the facility to ensure timely and complete transport.
Report any mechanical problems encountered with work equipment.
Inspect and maintain Transport vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
