Operating Boom Lifts
Job Description

Maintains loading and unloading ramps.

Set up signage, barrier fencing, ropes, and maze lines.

Performs daily safety inspections on the lifts and completes a daily lift log.
Job Requirements

Training: Complete an OSHA-approved certification training program.
-
Safety equipment: Wear a full-body harness and restraining belt to protect against falls.

Load limits: Do not exceed the manufacturer's rated capacity for the boom and basket.

Ground conditions: Drive only on the ground that can support the lift's weight.

Weather conditions: Do not operate the lift in high winds, rain, snow, or other unfavorable conditions.

Work area: Ensure the work area is clearly defined and free of obstructions.

Platform safety: Remain within the platform and do not use ladders or boxes to gain extra height.

Safety devices: Ensure all safety devices, such as audible and visual alarms, are working.

Outriggers: Position them on a solid surface or pads when using outriggers.

Wheel chocks: Before using the lift on an incline, install wheel chocks.

Braking: Set the brakes when elevating personnel with the vehicle stationary.

Maintenance: Inspect the lift before each use and take it out of service if it is damaged
Additional Information
Employment Type - Monday - Friday - (weekends)
Pay Rate - $16.85-$19.00/HR
Pay-Rate Ranges $16.85/HR-$85.00/HR
