We are currently hiring a Production & Packaging Operator to join our candy manufacturing team. This full-time position involves hands-on work in producing, packaging, and inspecting candy products in a fast-paced, food-grade facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

Candy Production

• Operate machines used in the production of candies, including mixers, cookers, and forming equipment.

• Follow recipes, batch sheets, and safety procedures to produce high-quality candy products.

• Monitor temperature, texture, and consistency of candy during cooking and forming stages.

Packaging Operations

• Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including flow wrappers, sealers, and labeling machines.

• Accurately fill, weigh, seal, and label packages to meet quality and branding specifications.

• Pack finished goods into boxes and prepare them for shipment or storage.

Quality Control

• Inspect candies and packaging for defects, proper weight, and appearance.

• Report and document any non-conforming products or production issues.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP).

Material Handling

• Load raw materials and packaging supplies into machines.

• Transport materials and finished goods using carts or pallet jacks as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.

• Assist with end-of-shift clean-up and changeovers between product runs.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance to meet daily production targets.

• Communicate any equipment malfunctions, delays, or safety concerns.

• Experience: Prior experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or a similar production environment is preferred but not required.

• Food Safety Awareness: Understanding of or willingness to learn GMP and sanitation practices.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Attention to Detail: Focus on consistency, cleanliness, and product quality.

• Team Player: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude in a team-based setting.

• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
