Growing manufacturer is seeking a motivated candidate for a production scheduler/planner position.
Candidate must be self-driven, able to work independently, anticipate and plan work.
Candidate must have willingness to learn and be a self-starter.
Candidates will be responsible for managing production of component parts and scheduling machine time.
Stable employment history required. We provide paid, on the job training.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Determine parts needed for production
- Ensure parts are produced on time, before parts run out
- Review production schedule, review materials to ensure right parts are being made
- Release drawings to factory for production
- Anticipate part needs based on orders and plan part production schedule
- Manage time of machinery operators
- Track, receive completed parts into MRP system
- Assist other team members in all areas of production when needed
- Follow all safety protocols including use of personal protective safety equipment at all times

 -Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must be comfortable using a computer including experience with data entry.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience with MRP preferred but not required.
- Ability to verbally communicate and read English.
- Must be able to plan work, think ahead and anticipate production needs.
- Must be able to read drawings.
- Experience with sheet metal production.
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
- Team player, cooperative and willing to work with others.
- Past experience working in manufacturing preferred.
