Kitchen Manager
Job Description

Oversees daily back-of-house operations.

focusing on food prep, staff management (hiring, training, scheduling).

inventory control, cost management.

ensuring strict health, safety, and quality standards are met for a smooth, efficient kitchen operation

Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, portion sizes, and presentation.

Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3+ years in a supervisory or kitchen lead role (Head Chef/Sous Chef).
- Culinary training or a degree in hospitality is often preferred.
- Food Handler's Card and Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe Manager) are usually mandatory.
- Understanding food costing and budgeting.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, controlling food costs, menu planning, and ensuring quality control.
- Remaining calm and decisive under pressure.

Pay Rate-$24.00/HR
Pay-Rate Ranges $24.00/HR-$85.00/HR
