Inside Sales Representative
Job Description
We are looking for a driven and detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to help our team serve our customers with excellence and grow with the company.
This is a company providing premium interior and exterior paint, primers, and associated products to commercial, military, and general aviation markets.
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer accounts, handling inbound sales inquiries, generating new business, and supporting outside sales efforts. This role requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and customer-first mindset to help clients find the right aerospace coating solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Customer Engagement & Sales
- Handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate aerospace coatings, primers, and related products.
- Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers to generate and close sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in commercial, military, and general aviation sectors.
- Follow up on quotes, orders, and customer requests to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Learn and stay updated of Warehouse aerospace Coatings product lines, specifications, and applications.
- Provide technical support to customers, helping them understand product performance, compliance, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and follow- ups in a CRM system.
- Assist in tracking sales trends, forecasting demand, and identifying new market opportunities.
- Work closely with outside sales reps, marketing, and leadership to support company growth initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing sale strategies to increase market share.
Job Requirements
- Sales Experience: 1-3+ yrs in inside sales, customer service, or account management (preferably in aerospace coatings, industrial coatings, or B2B sales)
- Strong Communicator: Ability to build rapport, negotiate, and close deals with customers over phone and email.
- Detailed- Oriented: Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and ensure accurate order processing.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and/or ERP systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience or willingness to learn about aerospace coatings, aviation maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Self-Motivated: Driven to meet and exceed sales targets, with a proactive approach to finding new business opportunities.
- Physical Ability: Capable of light lifting (up to 50 lbs) for occasional product handling.
Additional Information
Employment Type: Monday - Friday. Temp to Hire.
Pay Rate: $20.00/HR
Pay-Rate Ranges: $20.00/HR-$85.00/HR
