Job Description
Welder Fabricator- combines welding and metal fabrication techniques to create metal structures and products. Read blueprints, cut, shape, weld, and assemble metal components, ensuring the final product meets specifications and quality standards. This role requires a combination of technical skills, including Mig, Tig and Arc welding techniques; problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints:Understanding technical drawings to determine material requirements, dimensions, and welding procedures.
- Metal preparation:Cutting, shaping, and preparing metal parts using various tools and machinery, including saws, shears, and bending brakes.
- Welding:Joining metal components using different welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick) to create the desired structure.
- Assembly:Assembling fabricated parts into the final product, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Quality control:Inspecting welds and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Equipment operation:Operating various tools and equipment, including welding machines, cutting torches, and hand tools.
- Safety compliance:Following all safety procedures and using personal protective equipment.
